CONTENT OF THE LESSON:

Meaning of Information Technology:
Information Technology (IT) means using computers and other electronic tools to store, send, and get information.

Examples of IT Tools:

1. Computer
2. Mobile phone
3. Television
4. Radio
5. Projector

Uses of IT:

• Talking to friends and family (communication)
• Learning new things (education)
• Entertainment (games, movies, music)

INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY:
Teacher shows pupils a phone and a computer and asks:

“What can we use these for?”
Pupils respond and teacher links answers to the lesson topic.
