Primary School Scheme of Work (NERDC) | New Curriculum

The Primary School Scheme of Work provides a structured guide for effective teaching and learning in Nigerian primary schools, in line with NERDC curriculum standards. It outlines weekly topics, learning objectives, and content coverage to help teachers plan lessons systematically and ensure curriculum compliance.

With the introduction of the New 2025 NERDC Curriculum, Nigeria is currently running both the old and new primary schemes of work. The new curriculum applies only to pupils entering Primary 1 and Primary 4, while pupils in other classes continue with the previous scheme until they complete their learning cycle.
