Lesson 1 — Things in the Classroom
Teacher organises pupils in groups or pairs to identify things in the classroom. Examples include:
- Chair
- Table/Desk
- Chalkboard/Whiteboard
- Books
- Fan
- Windows
- Doors
Lesson 2 — Things in the School and Around
The teacher takes the pupils for a walk within the school to identify things around the school environment. Examples include:
- School gate
- Playground
- Trees and plants
- Staff room
- Library
- Toilet/Convenience
Assignment
Make a list of 10 things on your way back home.
Lesson Evaluation
- Make a list of 10 things in the classroom.
- Identify 10 things in the school.
- Make a list of 10 things within and around the classroom and the school.
