Subject: Mathematics (Numeracy) | Class: Primary 1 | Term: 3rd Term | Week: 8

Previous Lesson: Length — Week 6

Learning Objectives

  1. Explain the term weight.
  2. Compare the weight of objects.
  3. Identify which objects are heavier or lighter.

Lesson 1 — Counting 221–230

221 222 223 224 225 226 227 228 229 230

Lesson 2 — Meaning of Weight

  • 1 gram is bigger than 80 cg
  • 1 gram is equal to 100 cg

Lesson Evaluation

  1. We can measure weight with feet. (True / False)
  2. We can use a scale to measure weight. (True / False)
  3. A bunch of broom is longer than my textbook. (True / False)
  4. 50 kg is heavier than 5 kg. (True / False)
