Care of the Nails and Hair

🎯 Performance Objectives
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
- Describe how to cut our nails.
- Describe the materials used in maintaining hair.
💅 Nail Care
Nails protect the fingers and toes, and also assist with certain physical activities in daily life.
- Trim the nails regularly.
- Keep fingernails dry and clean.
- Apply a protective layer or nail hardener to help strengthen nails.
- Keep them short and clean; apply moisturiser.
- Cut them in the shape of the tip of your finger.
- Ask a parent for help if you don’t know how to cut your nails.
💇 Hair Care
Your hair is the fine threads that grow in a mass on your head and other parts of the body.
- Comb regularly.
- Trim from time to time.
- Keep dry and clean.
- Use appropriate hair cream.
- Plait or weave (for girls).
- Wash with shampoo and rinse properly.
- Do not share hair tools — comb, scarf, or clippers.
