🏢 What is an Office?
An office is a place where clerical and administrative work is carried out in an organisation. It is the nerve centre — the life wire — of any organisation. Just as the brain controls the human body, the office controls what happens in a business or institution. Every organisation, from a small shop to a large corporation, needs an office to function effectively.
