INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY

Teacher asks pupils: “What can happen if we touch wires with wet hands or pull out a plug carelessly?” Discuss pupils’ responses and introduce the concept of computer safety.


CONTENT OF THE LESSON

Computers are very helpful, but we must be careful when using them.

Basic Safety Rules:

  1. Always wash and dry your hands before touching the computer.
  2. Do not eat or drink near the computer.
  3. Handle the keyboard, mouse, and monitor gently.
  4. Do not pull or tug cables; use plugs properly.
  5. Switch off the computer before cleaning.
  6. Report any broken equipment to the teacher immediately.
