Meaning of Light Energy:
Light is a type of energy that helps us to see things. Without light, everywhere would be dark.
Sources of Light:
Light comes from different places called sources of light. Examples are:

- Candle and lantern – give light when burning.
- Torchlight – uses batteries to shine in the dark.
- Fire – gives both light and heat.
Uses of Light:

Colour:
Colour makes things look beautiful and different.
Examples of colours are red, blue, yellow, green, black, and white.
