Sense of Sight:
The eye is the organ we use to see.
We can use our eyes to:

  • See shapes (circle, square, triangle).
  • See colours (red, blue, green).
  • See sizes (big, small).
  • Read and write.

Importance of Sight:

  • Helps us move around safely.
  • Helps us read and learn.
  • Helps us know people and places.

INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY:

Teacher asks pupils to close their eyes for 10 seconds and describe what they can do without sight.
