CONTENT OF THE LESSON
Meaning of Senses:
Senses are the ways our body receives information from the world around us. They help us know what is happening.
The Five Senses are:
- Sight – using our eyes to see.
- Hearing – using our ears to hear.
- Smell – using our nose to smell.
- Taste – using our tongue to taste.
- Touch – using our skin to feel.
Matching Senses to Organs:
- Sight → Eyes
- Hearing → Ears
- Smell → Nose
- Taste → Tongue
- Touch → Skin
INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY:
Teacher displays objects (bell, perfume, mango, cloth, ball) and asks pupils to say which sense they will use to know more about each.
