CONTENT OF THE LESSON

Meaning of Senses:
Senses are the ways our body receives information from the world around us. They help us know what is happening.

The Five Senses are:

  1. Sight – using our eyes to see.
  2. Hearing – using our ears to hear.
  3. Smell – using our nose to smell.
  4. Taste – using our tongue to taste.
  5. Touch – using our skin to feel.

Matching Senses to Organs:

  • Sight → Eyes
  • Hearing → Ears
  • Smell → Nose
  • Taste → Tongue
  • Touch → Skin

INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY:

Teacher displays objects (bell, perfume, mango, cloth, ball) and asks pupils to say which sense they will use to know more about each.
