  • Pictures of each type of computer
  • Real devices if available

CONTENT OF THE LESSON:

Desktop: Large computer kept on a table.
Laptop: Small and portable computer.
Tablet: Touchscreen computer without a keyboard.
Smartphone: Small phone that can do computer work.

INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY:
Teacher shows pictures of the four types and asks pupils to name them.

CLASS EXERCISE 1:
Write 2 types of computers.

CLASS EXERCISE 2:
Which type is small and can fit in your bag?

CLASS EXERCISE 3:
Which type uses a touchscreen?
