Meaning of Hardware
Hardware is the physical part of the computer that you can touch and see.
Input Devices
These devices send information into the computer. Examples are;
- Keyboard – for typing
- Mouse – for pointing and clicking
- Scanner – for copying pictures into the computer
- Microphone – for recording sound
Output Devices
These devices show results from the computer. Examples are;
- Monitor – shows pictures and videos
- Printer – prints on paper
- Speakers – produce sound
- Projector – displays large pictures on a wall
