Meaning of Hardware
Hardware is the physical part of the computer that you can touch and see.

Input Devices

These devices send information into the computer. Examples are;

  1. Keyboard – for typing
  2. Mouse – for pointing and clicking
  3. Scanner – for copying pictures into the computer
  4. Microphone – for recording sound

Output Devices

These devices show results from the computer. Examples are;

  1. Monitor – shows pictures and videos
  2. Printer – prints on paper
  3. Speakers – produce sound
  4. Projector – displays large pictures on a wall
