CONTENT OF THE LESSON:

Meaning of Weather:
Weather is the condition of the atmosphere at a particular place and time. It can change from hour to hour or day to day.

Factors Affecting Weather:

  1. Sunlight (Solar Energy): Amount of sunshine affects temperature and evaporation.
  2. Cloud Cover: Clouds block sunlight and bring rain.
  3. Wind: Moves air and affects temperature.
  4. Rainfall: Amount of rain affects soil moisture and plant growth.
  5. Humidity: Amount of moisture in the air.
  6. Temperature: Degree of hotness or coldness of the air.

Why Weather Changes:

  • Rotation of the Earth.
  • Movement of air masses.
  • Changes in seasons.
