Traditional Dressing

Traditional dressing represents cultural identity. Examples include:

  • Wrapper, Buba, Iro and Gele (Yoruba)
  • Agbada, Caftan (common across Nigeria)
  • George fabric, Isiagu (Igbo)
  • Babban Riga, Hijab (Hausa/Fulani)

Nigerian Foods

Nigeria has a rich variety of local dishes, including:

  • Jollof rice, fried rice, ofada rice
  • Pounded yam with egusi soup or oha soup
  • Tuwo shinkafa with miyan kuka
  • Akara, moi-moi, suya, pepper soup

Traditional Greetings

Cultural Festivals
