Lesson 1 — Meaning of Electricity and Electric Gadgets
Technology is the use of knowledge to create new devices or tools.
Electricity is a modern technology and a form of energy that makes most other technologies work.
Electricity is a technology that gives other technologies the ability to work or move.
Any technology that depends on electricity is called an electric gadget.
Electric gadgets are appliances which work on electricity. For example:
- Television
- Radio
- Fan
- Electric cooker
- Fridge
- Bulbs
