Transportation is the movement of people and goods from one place to another by land, air, and water.

There are different means of transportation:

  1. Land transportation
  2. Air transportation
  3. Water transportation

Lesson 2 — Land Transportation

Land transportation is the movement of people and goods from one place to another by land.

There are two forms of land transportation:

  1. Road transportation
  2. Rail transportation

Technologies used in road transportation include:

  • Bicycles
  • Motorcycles
  • Cars
  • Buses
  • Trains

Lesson 3 — Air Transportation

Air transportation is the movement of people and goods from one place to another by aeroplane, helicopters, jets, etc.

Technologies used in air transportation include:

  • Aeroplane
  • Helicopters
  • Space ships
  • Jets
